I don’t think anyone is debating whether conservatives don’t have valid points and concerns, it’s a matter of fact that there will always be people that favor a more conservative approach over a liberal one and vice-versa. The problem lies with people showing up to these debates only to scream their lungs out and cry afoul about absurdities such as losing their country. If anything, I find it maddening that politicians would foment these wild and disruptive antics that overshadow potentially informative discourse just because they will be on the losing end of the stick (maybe if they were actually trying to prove a point, but a lot of these people are clueless).
Yes, it might be tough for some to deal with, but there is a democratically elected democrat majority in both the house and the senate, and a democratically elected president in charge, who happens to belong to the same party, and they’ve decided to work on health care.
