oh, did I forget to mention…

This past Saturday, I spent about 6 or so hours at Bayfront on my feets, getting my eardrums blasted into early retirement, and I liked it. It was a free show (as far as I know) and they weren’t holding back on the liquor, as long as you asked for something with Bacardi in it and paid at least $7. (eh…)

Anyhoo, there was a long list of performers, as the show ran from 4p.m. till about midnight, which included a solid performance by local DJ Irie, who managed to throw a little Vallenato seamlessly into a mix of hiphop and dance and what not. Also, performing that night were Dave Navarro along with DJ Skribble and ?uestlove and J-Mello and a slew of other people, mostly together, but not entirely. Cedric Gervais and then Deep Dish kept it going until Groove Armada capped the night off with a good showing.
